So It Shall Be

Can I tell you the truth?
No I can not.
Never can I show a soul,
what the depths of my conscience holds.
To many people would it hurt;
yet many would I bring joy unto.
But still no; I can not.

Damn the decisions that life inflicts.
A sharpened dagger thrown your way,
which way do you turn?
Ah, but such is life, I have learned.
Then so it shall be...

So many things could I be,
a world full of knowledge to absorb;
never enough hours are there in the day,
after bowing to societies pressure,
flocking to work sheepishly each morn.
Then so it shall be...
