A Life of Contentment

Time stands still -
and yet it can fly by

Even within
the blink of ones' eye

A universal circle
that seemingly hast no end

Time passing, one of
the only things you can count on; my friend.

We can be sure, that
One day our clock will stop ticking

That rusty ol' bucket -
One day we'll be kicking

But right now
With both feet out of the grave

I must work towards
The life that I have for so long craved

A life of contentment,
of peace - living life for my family and me

Not drudging away
Making sure my life complies with society
