On Meditation by IanGoole

They,
Them,
Those,
Who say they know,
Just suppose
To showing you their working out,
And shout louder
When you doubt
Yourself
And seek sensible
Advice.

They
Crowd
Round,
And sound wise,
But despise
The fact you’ve managed to attract
A lover to judge
In the first place
Whereas
Their pastures are
Drafty.

They
Say
Prayers
And lay flowers
For hours
But know nothing of the crosses
We’ve endured
To be sure
Of each
Others scrubbed
Love.
