The Fallen by M.E. Gaines

God bless the fallen…who selflessly died

Anonymous to us…but not those who cried

Cemetery markers of alabaster white

Some stars, some crosses…all glow in moonlight

Lined up in rows…like endless battalions

Each charged in life…like fearless white stallions
